The Hill Turned Green Again

After several weeks of drought, this week's rains were enough to bring Cerro El Peligro back to life. Gonzalo climbed today with his father up to 350 meters above sea level, and from up there the landscape was unrecognizable: green had returned to drape the hillsides, and the view opened in a full 360 degrees over the entire region of Los Loros, with nothing to interrupt it. Before the ascent, they came across a family of tití monkeys moving freely through the trees, heading toward the feeding stations. Gonzalo filmed the moment. On the way back down, Gonzalo floated an idea: that someone build domes up there, so that visitors could spend the night beneath that view. With the tití as neighbors and the sky scrubbed clean after the rain, it would be hard to find an argument against it.
